Among the landscapes of Capri, from 15th to 17th May, it will take place the Seventh Symposium on Circular Economy and Urban Mining – the International Conference SUM24, of which Envi.info is media partner.

Organised every two years since 2012 by IWWG–International Waste Working Group, the event represents a global benchmark Forum for the scientific and technical debate on all Circular Economy and Waste Recovery related topics.

In this context, it is necessary to involve different disciplines (Engineering, Economy, Chemistry, etc.), all possible stakeholders (industries, researchers, waste management companies, citizens, decision makers, administrators, regulators, politicians, etc.) and considering all the implementation aspects, such as quality of recycled products, sustainable management of residues, symbiosis between producers and recyclers, stability of markets, end of waste regulations, role of final sinks.

During the meetings, scientists and stakeholders can debate the most advanced results and focus on future needs, in a scenario that promotes networking and socialization.

SUM2024 Conference Programme is now available and includes more than 150 presentations, organised in four concurrent sessions with daily moments of discussion in sitting.

Social events enrich the Symposium programme, involving participants in moments of entertainment with friends and colleagues after a busy conference day.

Registrations are open to all that would like to join by filling out the form.

For more information, you can check the official website (full programme available here) or contact the organizing secretariat.

The Symposium is held under the patronage of the Italian Ministry of Environment and Energy Security, the City of Capri, ENEA and ISPRA.
